Configure costs

This page applies to:

Job Ticketing can estimate the cost of an order based on the options selected by a customer. This is great for letting customers know what they can expect the cost to be. Here’s a short video describing costs within Job Ticketing:

Remember that this is a cost estimation, and it is not always the same as the final cost that is charged to an account. The final cost might be different if, for example, you allow discounts or loadings, or if a user has incorrectly estimated the number of pages that need to be printed. Or for 3D jobs, the operator might want to factor in the difficulty of the job or operator time. Operators can modify the cost before it is charged to an account.

Cost estimates are displayed on the New Order screen and are dynamically updated as a customer selects options in their order.
