Set up Mobility Print with a Site Server

This page applies to:

Mobility Print works on a Site Server in online and offline mode if you are running PaperCut 17.1 or higher.

When Mobility Print was installed in PaperCut NG/MF 17.0 but is now running in 17.1 or later

If you have set up Mobility Print with a Site Server using PaperCut NG/MF 17.0, and have since upgraded to PaperCut 17.1 or later, you need to perform the changes described below. The upgrade enables Mobility Print to work with a Site Server when the connection with the Application Server is down.

  1. Open the following file in a text editor: [app-path]/data/config/papercut-server.conf

  2. Remove the lines starting with:

    ApplicationServer=

    ApplicationServerPort=

  3. Save the file.

  4. Restart the PaperCut Mobility Print service.

This ensures that PaperCut Mobility Print works in offline mode.

For PaperCut NG/MF 17.0 only

If you are running PaperCut NG/MF 17.0, you need to make the following changes to config files for Mobility Print to work.
