Configuring Print Delivery profiles

This page applies to:

If you’re interested in a description of Print Delivery Profiles or AutoPilot, head over to Print Delivery - overview .

To configure a Print Delivery Profile:

  1. In the admin console > Printers, select a printer. The printer’s details drawer opens.

  2. In the Advanced tab, scroll to Print Delivery Profile. The default profile of Autopilot is displayed.

  3. In the Autopilot default profile, select Change. The Print Delivery Profiles drawer opens.

  4. Select Create new profile. A popup is displayed.

  5. In Profile name, enter a name for your new Print Delivery Profile. This name is used to recognize the Print Delivery Profile, so consider options like a network or a location — whatever makes sense.

  6. Select Create. The Print Delivery Profile configuration options are displayed. In the Custom delivery path, you can set a mixture of individually selected clients, dynamically selected clients, and/or Autopilot-selected clients.

  7. If using individually selected clients, select Add clients. A drawer opens.

    1. Select up to 20 individual clients by selecting the checkbox next to their Hostname.
    2. Select Add to profile.
  8. If using dynamically selected clients, select Add subnet. A popup opens.

    1. Enter the Gateway name, Gateway IP address, and Gateway MAC address in the respective fields.
    2. Select Add subnet.
  9. If you want to use Autopilot as a backup, select the switch to On/green.

  10. Select Save changes.
