This was a big week for PaperCut… Why? Because on 4 March we launched our cloud-native print management platform to our channel partners!
Fuelled by coffee and dreams, our Melbourne, Portland, and London teams hosted a series of webinars for our ASCs and Resellers in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
The star of the show? We officially unveiled our cloud-native flagship product, PaperCut Hive !
Hosted by Communications Lead PaperCutter Al, the star-studded affair kicked off with a Keynote address from Quocirca’s Louella Fernandes on ‘Capitalising the Cloud Opportunity’. Her speech was followed by a full cast of PaperCutter gurus on our new cloud-native solution: Americas Lead Dave Farrell, Americas Operations Lead Desha Sorlien, and Solutions Architect Noah Wiemken.
Our various cloud experts covered topics ranging from:
- Our PaperCut Edge Mesh technology
- A full product demonstration of PaperCut Hive
- Other additions to the PaperCut portfolio

The event closed off with PaperCut Hive’s official channel launch from our co-founders, Chris Dance and Matt Doran. Usually, a maiden voyage is christened with a bottle of Dom Pérignon. But here at PaperCut, we sip coffee, not champagne. So with a freshly poured espresso shot splashing the trough of our office barista station, PaperCut Hive officially set sail for channel availability.
Launching our anticipated cloud-native platform for our partners is a huge milestone for us. But the reception from all our ASCs and Resellers who attended has been the froth on the cappuccino.
It wasn’t so long ago that PaperCut was just Chris and Matt and a handful of employees, now we’re more than 230+ employees strong all around the world, supporting 100 million users in 192 countries.
PaperCut Hive’s channel launch is the latest step in an incredible journey for what we still see as the little company that could.
Thank you to all our partners who have joined us on this journey. Here’s to more exciting milestones and espresso shots to come!
In fact, we’ll be back soon to celebrate PaperCut Hive’s general availability - so watch this space!
