Scanning with OCR

HP devices can create text-searchable documents using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) hosted either in the Cloud or locally (on-premise, for when you prefer documents to stay local).

PaperCut MF on HP OXP Multifunctional Devices delivers both integrated printing and scanning.

Some notes to consider when finding you HP device:

PaperCut MF supports HP MFDs with FutureSmart firmware and the HP Chai platform. Some PageWide Pro models are supported. Due to the wide range of HP models and configurations, it is not possible to test every single device. However, PaperCut Software does believe that all devices with a 4.3 inch touch screen or greater, operating a FutureSmart platform capable of running HP OXP applications should be compatible.
The following table is an indication of the supported models, although newer models might not be listed here. If you are unsure about your HP firmware / platform, please ask your HP representative or PaperCut MF Reseller.
