Device Filters & Restrictions

PaperCut MF allows administrators to specify which groups should have access to certain features on devices.

This can be configured in the PaperCut admin interface by navigating to Devices, then select the device you want to configure, then click the Filters & Restrictions tab.

Options available include:

• Restrict copier access to one or more user groups
• Restrict color copying to one or more user groups (only on selected models)
• Restrict administrator access to one or more groups (only on selected models)

Each copier has its own set of restrictions. Not all options are available on all copier models.

To configure multiple devices at once, select the options you want to configure then under the Actions menu click Copy settings to other devices.
