How to collect Document Processing Logs
Contents
PaperCut MF supports optical character recognition (OCR), blank page removal, despeckling, and deskewing as part of our Document Processing feature. This function can either be performed by a service hosted in the Cloud, or by a component that can be installed on an on-premise server.
The instructions to set up this feature are described in our manual here, and this article simply explains how to find the logs for the locally hosted/on-premise Document Processing server when requested by Support.
Steps
- Log onto the server where the Document Processing service is installed.
- Open the file explorer and browse to
C:\Program Files\PaperCut OCR\data\logs
. - Make a copy of the file called pc-ocr.log to share with us.
