Configure automatic print job timeout and deletion

This page applies to:

🔎 Admin console: Print Security > Secure Print Release

📄 For information about print security, see About secure print release and Securing your print environment .

Steps

To set the time period in which a print job must be released before it is automatically deleted from the queue:

  1. In the admin console, go to Print Security > Secure Print Release. The Secure Release panel is displayed.
  2. Scroll down to the Job timeout section, and next to Delete unreleased jobs after, select the time period you require. The shorter the time, the stronger the security.
  3. Click Save changes.
